If I Could Change Having Deaf Parents, Would I?

I am a hearing CODA (Child of Deaf Adult). The title of this blog is, If I could Change Having Deaf Parents Would I? To get to the point, no, I would never, ever want hearing parents. Sometimes I wish they could hear me sing or play my favorite instrument, but my whole world practically revolves around who my parents are. A lot of my friends have deaf parents. I go to a church for deaf people. If my dad wasn't deaf I wouldn't have gotten involved with vlogs and blogs, and I wouldn't be typing this down! I am glad to have deaf parents. No argument.
Thanks for reading this!

Isabella's Opinion on the label: Hearing Impaired

My opinion on the term Hearing Impaired

Sanjaya Goes Home!

For those of you who watch American Idol- A popular TV singing competiton- I have a question for you, are you happy Sanjaya got sent home? I don't get to watch it much, but I try to keep up with it online. Some people said Sanjaya was really bad, and should definitely go home. But some people really liked him! There was even a newspaper article saying that he was a "savior" because without him, the American Idol season would be boring! Isn't that crazy? Just curious for your opinion, so once again are you happy or sad Sanjaya was sent home?
